In 2011 Heavy Metal Magazine published in USA an european comic book called “Wisher” written by Sebastien Latour and drawn by Giulio De Vita, originally published in Europe in 2006 by Le Lombard editions in 4 volumes and then published in USA by Cinebook editions too, where a pragmatic young man lives a comfortable, carefree life in London who is kept in a secret millenial war between mystical people that live incognito among ordinary people and MI10, a section of the queen’s secret services that wants to erase these creatures from the face of the hearth.
We found some visual similarities of this work with the trailer of the new kolossal of Netflix with Will Smith, written by Max Landis, big fan of comics and directed by David Ayer (who made in 2016 Suicide Squad, with Will Smith too and based on the DC comic book serie by Roger Kanigher and Ross Andru in 1959) but we have to wait the 22nd of December 2017 to see if these similarities are just a coincidence or a “bright” evidence of something more serious.
